Red Sauce

  • 2lbs grass fed ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 T fennel seeds
  • 4-5 T oregano
  • 1 T chili flakes (or more)
  • bay leaves
  • tad of olive oil
  • some red wine
  • some molasses
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 4 cans chunky tomato sauce
  • big squirt of tomato paste from tube
  • salt to taste
Simmer overnight. Let rest on stove entire next day. Eat with anything.
